I usually run into a random frenzy a few times a year and spend some weeks looking just at anime and then completely forget about the thing. Finding a good series that can keep me interested to the end is not an easy job (probably that's why my MAL list has anime with low grades) but occasionally I run into a gem that keeps me in front of the TV all day.

I don't really have a favourite anime but some that I like are Serial Experiments Lain, GiTS, Bubblegum Crisis, Gundam (the first one from the 70s), Texhnolyze, Higurashi etc.

I never found the appeal in popular anime with huge fanbase. Maybe these are the reasons I was never into DBZ, Bleach, Naruto etc. Oh yes and I absolutely hated NGE. Post Any Thing And All Anime :) 853291

Also, everyone should start watching "Problem Children are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?". I recommend that anime series as it is in my opinion the best new 2013 anime series.

It seems that Kazuchika Kise that worked on some previous GiTS movies will make animations. Sadly I don't think Kenji Kawai will do the music and the first peak of Motoko's look isn't that great but I am keeping my hopes high.
