.mkv to .mp4 Converter - Anyone know of one?

Alright, so, as the description/title says, I'm looking for a consistent program that will convert an .mkv (mastroska file container) to .mp4 format. At the moment I'm using Hand Brake (no particular builds) to do video conversions, and for some reason no matter what I do, it gives me the error "out of memory" every time I try to convert a file with a .ssa subtitle file included (I'm trying to convert an anime with subtitles to mp4 format with burned-in subtitles), even though it was successful on the first attempt. I can't seem to find an answer to this issue, even on the Hand Brake forums, so can anyone here help me out? Most of you I'll bet are more knowledgeable about this sort of thing than I am.

Why not just use something than can play .mkv? Unless you need it to be mp4 for something other than your computer.

I could PM you how to crack it for the full version. You can split videos and convert to any format. It supports it all.

I've been using VLC for years, and in case you didn't know, I'm not stupid, I know what Google searching is, and I've been using it to solve my problems (such as PLAYING .mkv files among others) FOR A LONG TIME. You should stick to answering the question: CONVERSION program. The image is enough reason to show you why: I'm trying to convert it to mp4 so I can view it ANYWHERE. Not just on one media player.

I personally use AppGeeker for converting.

It is very easy to use - think it will take mkv s input, and will output to compressed mp4 - very easy to cut frames, mix audio, etc...
